Recommendations to the Trading Experience

  • Improved Trade Management Flow: The current process feels cumbersome, requiring users to gather information from multiple places to propose a trade.
  • Selectable Trade Lists: Ability to specifically select cards to offer and cards desired for trade, making the process more intuitive.
  • Enhanced Copy/Paste for Trade Lists: The existing copy/paste functionality for trade lists is awkward, often resulting in a “wall of text.” It needs significant improvement for better readability and ease of sharing.
  • Direct Public Page Link Copy Button: Add a button to the profile or even within the forum’s reply section to easily copy the public page link to the clipboard.
  • Contextual Clipboard Copying: Implement a feature to copy only the cards visible in a specific section (e.g., from a shared link opened in a new tab) to the clipboard.
  • In-App Filtering by Quantity for Trades: A filter to show only cards with more than 3 copies would greatly simplify managing trade inventory.
  • Streamlined Information Gathering for Trades: Reduce the number of steps and locations a user needs to visit to propose or respond to a trade.
  • User ID and Public Page Link Button in Forum Replies: A quick button to insert one’s user ID and public page link into forum messages.
  • Including markers for non tradable cards, (currently it only applies to all cards and not individual cards) (I may want to trade a pikachu if I have 2, but I constantly get requests of trades of highly desirable cards that I only have 2, and I obviously will not trade.)

I just saw in the chat that there is an ongoing discussion about some highly desirable features by the community but not specific post about it.

I thought that it was enough to continue a discussion and keep adding ideas to the ongong thread but apparently they go unnoticed and or ignored.

I also understand that it is hard to read every single comment, and I got forced to create a new topic for every single idea that I have, even if it goes in line with ideas that are already proposed.

I remember that I somewhere posted about this somewhere, there are additional recommendations in my post below.

I just can’t find it now, but this is really helpful and desired by the community as well.
