We are discussing a new trading feature. Right now, you can have an agreed trade with someone, but accidentally send another trade to a different person involving the same card. It might be the case that after doing both of them, you end up with less/more copies of a card than you want. To mitigate this, we want to, in addition to showing the number of copies you own, show the number of copies you will own after finishing all your trades.
We are discussing two ways to show it. The first one is:
I’m trying multiple designs with the badge, and none looks quite right to me. The first one looks best out of them (the other break the symmetry too much). But the badge is more confusing than an arrow for me. Even that I added a tooltip on hover, there are just a lot of 1s next to each that my brain has hard time understanding
What do you think? Anyone wants to join me in the arrow team?
maybe the number you end up with is a bit much and just an indicator that the card is part of another trade is sufficient.
Design from the trade status indicators might work here. Either the same round icon or even just a small dot/bullet. The colours could also be brought in for additional information.
In my case, its very common for me to send out several offers for the same card knowing most will be ignored and eventually cancelled.
