Option to exclude card not collected in that expansion from adding to count when filtering by expansion

When using the filtering by expansion to check card counts between the site and the app, this seems to still work well for all previous expansions for my collection.

The new deluxe set however, the count is very different between the site and app and I think this is because of counting the cards that have not been ‘collected’ in that expansions yet.

I think this would also work in reverse as well as a general concept, but I don’t have any cards like that. Plus I can’t seem to work out how to ‘remove’ a card from an expansion entirely as resetting the count to 0 doesn’t fade the card out anymore (not that I think that is bad, I do like that change).

If there could be an option to include/not include cards that have been collected in that expansion when using the expansion filtering, that would greatly help with the cross matching counts between the app and the site.

In general though I really appreciate the work done here!

Am I correct to say you are talking about the “unique owned” right, not the “total owned”?

The total owned is correct?

Actually, can you check again, I adjusted it to do the count the same as in the app by counting the collected cards instead of the card amounts.

I’m talking about the total owned.

For instance, if you filter your collection in that screenshot for Ivysaur and Deluxe pack, it would say 7 total owned, but in the app it will show 0 as neither ivysaur has actually been collected.

The overall counts are fine, it is only when filtering down to expansions.

That’s the unique owned count. See:

I have 5x weedle, the app will show only 1 (or zero), which is the unique count of cards you “collected”. If you tap in the app on the weedle, it shows I have 5 in total, which is the total count displayed on the site.

PS. I added a “uncollect” button in the card details, useful if you accidentally added a wrong card (or you are testing like me ;-))

I think the issue is more obvious when you have the card in another set but not deluxe ex.

Here is my example.

If I filter in both the site and the app for exe and deluxe ex I see this:

In the site I says a total owned of 12, which includes the Exeggutor ex that I have from Genetix Apex, as I haven’t got it yet in Deluxe Ex.

Whereas the app does not include it, and has a total of 11

I think if I now got the Exeggutor in Deluxe ex, both filters would then show up with a total of 13, but that is then equal and correct.

Also just wanted to add, you and the rest of the developers have done a great job trying to handle the mess that is the Deluxe Ex. The implementation done in the app was almost the worst case I can think of, and the solution that is currently in place is really elegant and works well, from what I have seen.
