[Closed][#593] My whole collection disappeared

I wanted to add some cards from the new expansion and it was bugging around: Like not remembering the numbers I was putting in and jumping back to 0.
And when I went back to the title page I discovered that all my cards, save for the 8 I just added, are GONE now. Oh, well… I should have been more diligent about backups. :sweat_smile:

I’ve just had the same issue. I have no backups so it is back to scratch for me.

That’s what I did and after 4 collections, all were removed again… Probably a bug somewhere?

Well, what I said was an understatement. I don’t have any backups either. So same. xD

Just reloaded the page and also my collection disappered… I hope they will recover… It’s so useful!

Same here :confused: I hope it isn’t permanent data loss because I dont want to have to add my entire collection again.

Hi guys, apologies for the problem, no cards have been lost!

There was an update to the caching mechanism of the cards locally in the browser. It got pushed yesterday and it assumed the user has an account row. Many users don’t have an account row, because you only create one if you change your profile (like set it to public or add your username). Which caused your collection not to be fetched.

I just pushed a fix, so this should work normally again for everyone.

Hey, I don’t want to be annoying, because I really appreciate all the work you’re putting into this project but my collection is still gone. Is there any chance to recover it? I don’t mind too much if it’s gone for good but I would like to know if I should start over or not. :sweat_smile:

Could you try an incognito window to make sure it isn’t the cache? Let me know if that works.

That actually solved it. Gonna clean my browser cache. Man, I should have thought about that myself. :man_facepalming: Thank you for your help!
