[solved] Overview probabilities changed, why?

I just noticed that a few of the new card probabilities in the Overview tab have increased for reasons I’m not sure about.
Previously my chance of a new card from GA, STS and TL (set to 2) was about 60% each when I last checked a few days ago, but when I checked this night GA and STS are now about 80%. I checked my collection counts and they’re all correct.
Is this a bug, the result of correcting a bug, or somrthing else like that?

There was a bugfix that the A2-29 card was counted twice, but that wouldn’t explain the issue you see in A1 and A2a.

Other than that, I don’t think anything changed. Are you sure it isn’t one of the filters on top that is switched?

No, same as previous; no filters and 2 copies.

I noticed that too, all my probabilities were less than 50% and some of them are over now.

I think I know what it is, I fixed a bug yesterday that was reported in another thread. The bug was that the “Every pack” cards didn’t show in the progress bars in overview. This happened because there was translation key added, but it didn’t match some of the calculation code. Anyway, that got fixed and my suspicion is that the every pack was not included at all in the probability calculation which caused it to change since yesterday.
I’m confident it is correct now, however, it’s hard to validate except if you manually do the calculations yourself to double-check the numbers - which isn’t easy unfortunately.

So AFAYK, just go ahead and if there’s any counting issues, they’ll figure out and fix them?

While adding the new Shining Revelry pack I encountered another problem with the “every pack” rename and fixed it. Can you check if that influenced your probabilities?

Can confirm the probabilities changed again. I also experienced all of my probabilities having changed on Wednesday (on Tuesday, my highest probability was around 49%, and on Wednesday it jumped up to something like 60? not completely sure what the number was but it was definitely higher, with no filters selected)

Today, with the new booster, it’s back to what it was on Tuesday.

EDIT: Additional info : when the probabilities changed on Wednesday, it wasn’t uniform for every pack. For example, for Genetic Apex, my highest probability pack on Tuesday Pikachu, on Wednesday it was Charizard but when I checked today (without having added any cards to my collection) it was back to Pikachu.

I can also confirm that the probabilities changed when you fixed the “every pack bug”, and that now, with the new pack, they seem to be back to what they were before.

Thank you for all the info. Seems to be solved then

Yeah, chances seem to be back to what they were before. Thanks.
