FAQ: ⏱️ Why Aren't New Expansion Card Images Showing Up (Yet)?

Hey everyone! :wave:

We’ve been seeing a lot of questions about why new expansion cards aren’t displaying their images right away, so let’s clear things up!

:question: Q: I just opened new packs, and the card images are missing! Is something broken? :sob:

A: Don’t panic! :sweat_smile: It’s perfectly normal for new card images to take a little time to appear. When a new set is released, the system needs to process and upload all the image files.

:question: Q: How long does it usually take for the images to show up? :hourglass_flowing_sand:

A: Generally, you can expect the images to be available about after 24 hours of the set’s official release (Based on Shining Revelry release date ). Sometimes it might be sooner, but it could be longer. :pray:

:question: Q: I’m seeing o matches on cards from the new booster pack

A: Yep, those are exactly what we’re talking about! Those non matches will soon be filled with the beautiful card art. :sparkles:

:question: Q: Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? :rocket:

A: Unfortunately, I have no idea… Because there is no GitHub ticket open at the moment… Maybe we need to wait for an official answer to this from the devs.

The cards are not loaded into the collection yet, so the card scan wont recognise the cards from the new packs.

Last time the collection was updated within 24hrs of the release of the new pack, so we will just need to be patient.

So, I just opened 10 packs of the new expansion, and… :broken_heart: NONE of the cards are being recognized! :sob: Like, seriously, not a single one!

I know, I know, screenshots of 50 cards would be overkill :sweat_smile:, so I grabbed a few examples to show you what’s going on. Check these out:

Is it just me, or is the system completely missing the data for these new cards? :thinking: Does anyone know if the info is coming soon, or if there’s a delay? :woman_shrugging:

For transparency, I am not a moderator.

I do not recommend creating a FAQ for the site based on an observation I’ve made that regarding when the site will be updated as it may not be accurate.

That information needs to come from the developers/moderators of the site. Not reproduced GenAI posts from general users that may provide misleading advice.

All I was trying to say was we should wait and see. Otherwise raise a bug report would be the next logical step to raise the issue with the devs.

I have just updated the post to make it clearer that it is just based on an observation of the last pack.

I will also open a suggestion thread to have moderator identifiers. Perhaps Marcel is running this site by himself.

But still it would be nice to know if he is the only moderator.
