BETA TESTING trading feature - need feedback

Hi all,

I’m working on a trading page, that will eventually replace most of this forum. I need a couple of people to try it out and give me feedback.

To see what we can trade you can either go to my public collection page and use the trade matching button: https://tcgpocketcollectiontracker.com/#/collection/0298285743526180
Or go to the trading dialog directly: https://tcgpocketcollectiontracker.com/#/collection/0298285743526180/trade

Then let me know:

  1. if you want to trade anything (and if yes which cards)
  2. let me know if you understand the page / if it makes sense
  3. if there are any bugs (screenshots if applicable please)
  4. tell me what you’d like to see on the page

This is sort of the roadmap:

  • making public page to view a collection (so you don’t have to post card lists in the forum)
  • comparing a public page with your logged in page to view possible trades (so you don’t manually have to compare)
  • make a button to propose a trade which triggers some email notification (so you don’t need to chat on the forum)
  • making a toggle “active trading”, if toggled we will promote your public page automatically (so you don’t have to post it to the forum).
  • finally, pro-actively propose trades between “active trading player” (so you don’t have to click on the click on the public links)

Oooh exciting!
I clicked the link and it shows me possible trades from A3, which we can’t trade yet? So I guess to answer your second question, I don’t think I understand what to do or how it will work :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah thanks, I now filter the tradable expansions :smiley:

So now I get the ‘no possible trades found’ message, which is likely because I am only missing 1 tradeable card. But then why is that single card not showing as one I’m looking for?

But how is this actually working? Does the tool know who my friends are in the game and check what tradeable cards they have vs what I need? That’s where I’m not clear on what is happening or supposed to happen.

i was just wishing this existed, this is so awesome! it could definitely use some way to select which cards im looking for as well as the quantity of each im willing to trade. for example, right now it says i need 2x celebi ex, but really i only need one of those for dex completion as i already have 2 of the fullart variant for deck building. it also says i have 2x beedrill ex for trade but… those are the only 2 i have, i don’t have either of the fullart variants, so i don’t want to part with either of them. i also noticed you only have 1 gallade ex, i have 2 of them as well as a fullart, and i would totally be willing to trade one of my ◊◊◊◊ ones for your celebi. maybe adding the deck building mode option from the collection tracker could be a simple way to solve this?

@Benibasaur The link I shared with you is my personal page, so when you use my link, you can see the cards I own and thus which cards we can trade. So anyone that clicks my link will be comparing their own account with mine.

@rubyifuplz I didn’t take the deck building mode into account yet, but that could be an addition once this is finished.
