Ability to show trade "looking for" cards externally?

I would love the ability to show all the cards I am seeking for externally with friends (to people without an account on the site.)

The in-game trading system is so very limited, and I only have stuff I want on there for battles, so they show up in wonder picks, but I’m up for any card I don’t have being traded with me by my friends, and they can’t see what I don’t have in my complete collection.

The ability to just send em a link from here and be like “This is what I need, in the game list is what I want most though, but if you don’t have any, here’s other stuff id be open to trade for.”

Right now, the only way I can see to do it is to manually take a bunch of screenshots and send em, which is lame.

I know there is a “copy to clipboard” function but having them all in text in so much less useful then just being able to put images to what someone is looking for, and that link at the top of the copy to clipboard seems to take you to a hypothetical trade page to setup trades with another user… but again if they are not a user here that is of no help.

Anyway thank you for hearing me out, I really hope you consider this functionality since there are gonna be tons of people who don’t use this site yet are friends with someone who does.

  1. Get your friends on the site :sweat_smile:
  2. There is a share button on your collection page which will give you a public link. Anyone can view your collection page, even without an account.

  1. Trust me, they won’t. Infact, that’s a lie, they have one. They don’t use it.
  2. That’s all well and good, but that means a hell of a lot of combing through hundreds of cards to see what someone may or may not have. Also, it doesn’t account for any cards I want multiples of unless I remember and specify with every instance of that occurring.

Then I don’t understand what you are looking for. Could you describe how the feature you are requesting would work exactly?

TL;DR: Just merge the “Trade > Cards” page with the public collection.

If I understand correctly, you want the “Missing” filter to actually show the cards you are wanting to collect (so it would be named “Wanted”), instead of cards you have 0 copies of. And maybe make this filter more easily accessible, because then it would be actually useful (right now, when it isn’t synced with your trade settings, I don’t see any use case for it). This should be rather easy to implement and I agree that it would be a nice improvement.

Im unsure if Gregs reply would have the same effect, I just woke up and im struggling to visualize it but yeah I just had in mind this specific page having a copy link and you send it and people can see what’s there.
