A Frustrated Suggestion from Someone Who Just Wants Trading to Be Easier

Hey everyone,

I’ve been actively participating in this community because I genuinely believe in the power of trading to bring collectors together. That said, I’m feeling increasingly frustrated and, honestly, a bit censored.

Recently, I tried sharing a tool I’ve personally used that significantly improves the card trading experience—fast matching, better organization, and a real sense of connection with other players. I’m not affiliated with it, I don’t profit from it, and I only recommended it because it actually works and helps solve real problems we face here: endless scrolling, missed opportunities, and unclear trade terms.

My post was removed. I wasn’t promoting spam, just offering an alternative solution that I believe many here would benefit from. And yet, my suggestion was shut down.

I get that the community has rules—but if we can’t openly suggest tools (even external ones) that might genuinely help us all, are we really prioritizing the community’s needs? What’s wrong with open discussion if there’s no malicious intent, no monetization, and the goal is just to help fellow collectors?

This forum is a great place for connecting, but it has limitations. If we can’t improve the current system, or at least talk about solutions that exist elsewhere, how can we grow?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. And mods—if you’re reading this—I genuinely want dialogue, not conflict.

Thanks for listening.
